Design
The turntable is fabricated from high-grade box steel and covered in chequered steel plates for improved tyre grip as a standard option.
The turntable structure is designed and analysed using state-of-the-art technologies, allowing the development of a weight-optimised and a low maintenance solution.A gearmotor subassembly mounted to one side of the turntable provides enough power to rotate the vehicle.The gearmotor is controlled via a wall mounted control system. The control system is packaged in a secure user-friendly interface. The interface is a key-operated weatherproof box, equipped with 2 buttons capable of spinning the turntable a complete 360° in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions.
The control system design is foolproof, so in case both buttons are pressed at once the system will pause from processing any input briefly, after which normal operation will resume. Also the system is designed with a manual override in case of a power outage.
